Wesleyan Candidates

Wesleyan Candidates are required to complete certain subjects for Licensing, Commissioning and Ordination as prescribed by the National Board of Administration. All of these study requirements for ordination are available through the Kingsley Community Vocational Graduate Certificate. Candidates for ministry are able to commence study at Certificate IV level in their local Training Centre and then continue toward the Vocational Graduate Certificate through the college in Melbourne. Study is available online, by distance, intensives and in class.
Candidates are also able to choose to study a three year Bachelor degree at one of Kingsley's Higher Education partner colleges and then complete the remaining subjects for ordination with Kingsley Australia.
Also available is the option of completing the Kingsley Community Diploma (receiving one year of credit into a Bachelor degree) and two further years of a Bachelor degree at an approved Higher Education provider.

Kingsley Australia provides the following options to complete your studies

  • All Licensing subjects can be completed through the Kingsley Community Certificate IV in Christian Ministry and Theology
  • All Commissioning subjects can be completed through the Kingsley Community Diploma in Christian Ministry and Theology
  • All Ordination subjects can be completed through the Kingsley Community Vocational Graduate Certificate in Christian Ministry and Theology
  • Ordination subjects can be completed through a three year Bachelor degree at one of the approved Higher Education partner Colleges plus 4-5 futher subjects through Kingsley connection or
  • Through the completion of the Kingsley Community Diploma in Christian Ministry and Theology and two further years of Bachelor level study at an approved Higher Education College
